Education Cubes Giveaway

imageBack in November I announced my new site, Education Cubes. As a way to say thank you to my readers, I gave away FREE memberships to the first 5 people to “like” Education Cubes on Facebook and comment about it.

For those who missed out, don’t fear! As part of the month long Education Cubes Grand Opening Celebration, I will be kicking off the fun with an Education Cubes giveaway! You can enter to win a set of the photo blocks needed to to make your Education Cubes as well as a complimentary membership to the Education Cubes Members Only Site where you will find over 100 insert cards for your Education Cubes!  If you have no idea what Education Cubes are or what I am talking about, head over to Education Cubes to see what it is all about…and then come back here and enter to win!

The winner will receive everything they need to get started with their Education Cubes {photo blocks AND an Education Cubes Membership}. There are several EASY ways to enter to win. However, the first and MANDATORY entry is to simply leave a comment letting me know you would like to win!

  4. One idea would be to have pictures of animals on each card and when the child rolls the cube across the floor, they have to make that animals sound. For older kids, they could tell something about the animal like what they eat or where they live, etc.

  14. My idea is story elements...such as character, setting, problem, solution, etc. This would make brainstorming ideas for a creative writing story map more fun! Or what you could do is list actual characters, problems, etc. from fairy tales and let the kids roll a story. Whatever parts they get they put together to create a new story using old story parts. So the story might have Cinderella getting her castle blown down by the 3 bears while she's gone to visit her sick grandmother who lives in the woods!

  19. One idea for inserts would be to have a plus sign, subtraction etc so little ones could practice math!!

    Find that country - like your state ones.
    Or pictures of animals or landmarks and identify the country they belong in.

  77. We are learning time right now so I'm thinking of having one cube with the hour hand and one cube with the minute hand and the kids have to write the correct time. So many things you can do with this! grumbleyfamily@aol.com

  79. I'd like to see a chore set of inserts. Basic things that little ones can do around the house to help out. My boys like to pick what their chores will be for the day I think that a game would make it even more fun!

    I think a set of inserts that have pictures of animal families to match with their adult name and their baby name would be great (ex. picture of an adult kangaroo to match with "kangaroo" and a picture of a baby kangaroo to match with "joey") :)

  85. My idea would be to also use them to make choices for the kids, to make it fun. Maybe for chores or special activity times where they can choose the activity via rolling the cubes. SO many ways to use them - more than just educational.
