A few weeks ago at church the teachers in DC & JJ's class asked them for prayer requests. Well, DC's request was that he could learn more about Jesus and the Bible. Such an honorable request, right!!! Well, JJ's request, on the other hand, was for the injury to his lower extremities resulting from getting stuck while climbing a tree. Yes, I was horrified when I found out my son had actually used the *correct name* for the body part in front of all the kids and teachers in his class. Fortunately the teachers are good friends of ours, so they kind of thought it was funny and obviously had no problems letting us know about our son's interesting prayer request! I guess the injury is engraved in his mind, because it happened three months ago! Silly boy!!!

Too funny! Boys are pretty protective of their manhood! Hope to get more caught up on your posts soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my word! It certainly did make an impression on him to say the least! Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteMy boys used to call theirs a peanut...their father used the correct term but they heard peanut.
We plan on teasing them about that in due time!
I can imagine that I would be crimson if my son did that and I was there to witness it!

ReplyDeleteIt's better than what happened to me...... My boys needed to go potty at church one day, and just pulled their pants down and went on the side of the playground....... Not my proudest moment.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is so stinkin' hilarious. So perfectly innocent. Love it! You just gotta love boys!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT
