We used construction paper, clear contact paper and the printable placemat template found on the Nestle Family website. We printed off the template, traced it onto construction paper, and cut it out. Then, we glued the pieces onto a large piece of construction paper (with the proper positioning…of course) and labeled all the parts. Finally, I covered them with clear contact paper. In this pic, we practiced setting the table with some of our tea party supplies. We sometimes use the mats at the kitchen table with “real” utensils as well.

Welcome to my main blog!

your link to placemat template doesn't seem to be working...it takes me to an Indian Nestle site.
ReplyDeleteHi Angela!
ReplyDeleteI just adjusted the post. The link does go to the Nestle Family website. That is where I found the download. Please let me know if you continue to have trouble with the link. I was able to access it just fine.
What a great idea! Thanks so much for sharing! Maybe I can get my kids to start setting the table now :) I love your blog, by the way. Great ideas!
