Racing Racecars Game

My big boys loved playing the Bug Race Game so much that I decided to make one for them. They decided that they wanted a racecar game. So, this is what I came up with. (Click the image to download.)

This game helps with number recognition and counting with a die. Roll the die, count the dots, and mark off or circle that number on the racetrack. The first number rolled 10 times wins. Once you have a winner, draw a star in the box. My boys like to have all the cars win, so they just write the car number in the box until all the cars have won. I suppose that gives them extra  number and counting practice, which is fine by me!  :-)

(Helpful Hints: So that we can use this over and over, I laminated it with my new Scotch Laminator, which I absolutely LOVE, and the kids use dry or wet erase markers on it...saves from having to print it a billion times. Or, if you don't have a laminator, you can cover it with clear contact paper or slip it in a page protector and reuse it.)
