The kids each drew three ovals on two pieces of paper. I gave them the primary colors and they painted the three ovals on their first paper. Then, they mixed the primaries to make the secondaries and painted the three ovals on the second paper. Once dry, the kids added features to their mice! Can you tell, that one is a girl with pony tails and a few others have on glasses.

ReplyDeleteI have seen so many cute activities with this book, my library does not have it so I may have to just by it! I really like this project, our art group is in the middle of a color wheel project and I think I am going to do this with them as a culminating activity. I love how it turned out.
