I can't believe that I have not posted this yet, but on Dec 27, 2009, DC asked Jesus into his heart! We are so proud that he has made this awesome decision to follow Christ!!! We told him that whenever a person asks Jesus into their heart to be their Lord and Savior that the angels in heaven have a big party! (Luke 15:10) I would have posted the pics of my husband "getting his party on" like the angels, but figured he would appreciate that I didn't! :-) DC, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and so happy that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior!!!!

I still remember when I was 7 and came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior, an older woman in the church came up to me and said, "Do you know that the angels are rejoicing right now?!" I can't remember that lady's name or face, but I still remember those words (now 30 years later!)
Hallelujah! I know you and your husband are so proud of him. I think the picture speaks volumes more than one of your husband "getting his party on," which I'm sure was a blast to watch.
That is wonderful!!! I remember leading my oldest to the LORD! That is a great picture. I have done a scrap page of our 2 boys salvation decisions so that they can look back and know the date and experience. I know I accepted Christ as a young child but I often doubted along the way because I couldn't remember the date or the events surrounding it... not that remembering those things makes you saved :) I just want the kids to remember how excited we all were. We are also planning this year to celebrate the boys spiritual birthdays as we would their actual birthday.
I just found your blog and looked under "inspirations" and if this post is not truly inspirational..what is? Precious! 2 of our 6 just were water baptised Sunday and I bawled like a baby!
