"Which Season Do I Belong To?" Matching Activity

This is yet another file folder game that I made from free printables over at Montessori for Everyone. The other game is a fruit matching activity. You can read more about it here. Anyhow, I saw these printables and decided to put them into a file folder. I just divided the folder into four sections, placing one of the four season in each section. Now all you have to do is decide which season each of the objects belong to. Some of the pictures could work for multiple seasons, so be sure to have your kiddo explain to you why they think the pics belong with that particular season. Nicole{tired, need sleep} and Chasing Cheerios both blogged about how they used the printables in case you want to see other options!

  1. I love all your file folder games! I found that I was a little confused with some of these pictures too - many could have been for more than one season. I ended up putting stickers on the back so I'd know which season each one went with, but I like your idea better - let the child pick the season and then explain why. Brilliant! :)

  2. You really do put together wonderful file folder games. I just print it out and then don't finish my ideas. Sigh, it's true.

  3. Love it! I finally got around to printing the picture for the other ones. I put together the apple one (a big hit) and need to spend some time cutting out the butterflies! Thanks for the great ideas :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend~
