So, when I got the babies up this morning I was in for a big, stinky, messy surprise!!! I noticed these smeared stains on both of their beds. So, originally I thought that maybe one of them threw up. (They often poop in their diapers first thing in the morning, so the smell wasn't my first clue-in to what really happened.) Have you ever had your kid to go SO much in their diaper that it starts creeping out of the top of the back up the diaper...all up their back? Well, when TJ turned around I knew
exactly what was smeared all over the beds. Yes, you guessed it. Uggghhhh!!!!! Once I set foot into the room, I began to see little kernels of corn sporadically spread all over the floor. (We had corn with dinner last night). Unfortunately, I am almost certain that my innocent little fellas probably ate some of the corn...that had made its way through
all parts of their little digestive systems...including the very last part! Uggghhhh!!!! How nasty is that? I am still trying to clean up and get everything washed. Right now, the windows are open so I can fumigate the room! :-) Gotta love being a mama!!!

Oh, you poor thing! I haven't had that bad of a problem, but I've had a couple of gross circumstances.
ReplyDeleteYep..got to be the worst. I find the easist clean up is to take everything outside to the front lawn and get the hose out and put it on the power squirting option and spray the poops everywhere. This way you dont find leftovers in the wash after the load is supposed to be clean...This works especially for puke.....Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteMother of Multipes, that is so funny, b/c you are RIGHT!!!!! In the past I WOULD find little bits of food, etc in the washer. So, I started cleaning if off in the tub first...which means I have to clean the tub. The outside idea is good, b/c that means no extra cleanup, right?!?!?
ReplyDeletewow... you had two sets of TWINS??? How awesome is that. :) Yes...the diaper troubles (that's what I used to call them)... just makes the mommy-ing worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteJenn! Ahhh that is certainly no fun! Being a nanny for a family with 2 kids and I have had to deal with poopy messes!
